VirtualBox itself is not capable of transmitting viruses. However, if a virtual machine running on VirtualBox becomes infected with a virus, there is a risk that the virus could spread to other virtual machines or the host system. It is important to practice safe computing habits, such as using antivirus software and keeping virtual machines updated, to minimize the risk of virus transmission. Additionally, only use trusted sources when downloading virtual machine images to reduce the risk of downloading a pre-infected virtual machine. **

To transmit 144 Hz, you would need an HDMI cable that supports at least HDMI 1.4 or higher. HDMI 1.4 cables are capable of transmitting up to 120 Hz at 1080p resolution. For 144 Hz, it is recommended to use an HDMI 2.0 cable or higher, as they can support higher refresh rates and resolutions. Make sure to check the specifications of the HDMI cable to ensure it meets the requirements for transmitting 144 Hz. **

The LAN switch may be blinking but not transmitting internet because there could be an issue with the connection between the switch and the modem or router. It is possible that the switch is not receiving a proper internet signal from the modem or router, which is preventing it from transmitting internet to connected devices. Additionally, there could be a configuration issue with the switch or a problem with the internet service provider that is causing the lack of internet transmission. Troubleshooting the connection between the switch and the modem/router, checking the switch configuration, and contacting the internet service provider for assistance may help resolve the issue. **

One way to stream without transmitting the sound from Discord is to use a software that allows you to selectively choose which audio sources to include in your stream. For example, OBS (Open Broadcaster Software) allows you to set up different audio sources and choose which ones to include in your stream. By configuring your audio sources in OBS, you can ensure that the sound from Discord is not transmitted while still allowing other audio sources, such as game sound or music, to be included in your stream. **
